Default ceramic coating on calipers...

I was wondering if I were to coat my calipers with ceramic paint, would they inturn have a greater heat tolerance or would it overheat more easily on the track? (by not letting the heat radiate off as easily)

the temp of the calipers have nothing to do with breaking ability. this depends on the rotor, and pads.

I would imagine that the calipers are responsible for radiating heat away from the pads...

Calipers do get hot under heavy braking. This is why special caliper paint kits use paint thats resistant up to 900-1000

the caliper will get hott, but it isn't the cause of making breaking worse. it only heats up due to the heat put out from the rotor and pads. Painting it with ceramic paint or any caliper paint will just make sure the paint doesn't get ruined, and will stay nice and clean(clean meaning no bubbling and what not).
