Michal, look for any post by Greg Stevens (gregstevens) by using the search function and click on the e-mail icon to get his e-mail address.

Then go to PhotoPoint ( www.photopoint.com ), enter Greg's e-mail address and look at the dozens and dozens of pictures that he has of his red car with red calipers.

Michael - Since you're driving a red car, I'd go with the red calipers. I like that integrated look better than the contrast with yellow.

if you're gonna go with red, i would make sure that the red caliper paint matches very closely with the red paint on the car. otherwise, if the two are slightly off, i think it may be a little awkward. just my $0.02.

My ears are burning. I used the FoliaTec paint, and I think it's a nice match to the red of the car. Of course, with all the abuse my poor calipers have taken and a ton of track time this year, the paint has burned off and become scorched (read: it's ugly) ...

Before...

After...

This was taken just after the first DAY of track time, actually and with all the subsequent track time, the paint has come off, flaked off, and is also still burned. SO! Over the winter, I'm taking the calipers completely off, having them sandblasted and then powdercoating them. I think that's the only realy way to do it for a long term solution. I honestly thought the FoliaTek paint was going to hold up better...but if you are a late braker like I am, the results are in black and white...

Also, in my sig I have THREE links, one to Scarlet's little web page, the other to my photopoint albums page and the third to www.s2ki.com ... and my email address is gregstevens@ameritech.net

I would have thought the Folia Tec stuff would last a little longer even after numerous track events...

Hope maybe it will be better for me...
