Are there any out there!? I am a fellow s2k owner in dire need of some help and though that the good people of s2ki.com could be of some assistance. Right now I live in Connecticut but within a month I will be living in Canton, MI. I am very excited and all but there is only one problem, I don't have a job yet . I am currently employed as a software engineer, with a b.s. in comp. sci. I am looking for a position as software/web developer. I have my resume and list of referrals. So I was wondering if any Michigan people had any ideas or usefull insights of where to look and such. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

 

Why are you moving if you don't have a job?

I'll be 100% honest though - with the auto market in a slump, Detroit isn't the ideal place to be looking for a job. How the Big 3 are faring drives the economy of the entire area. Best of luck to you in your search!

My girlfriend lives in canton. She is still in school, so not much help when it comes to prospective jobs. All I can do for now is get my resume out there and see what happens
