i bought 4- ig's radiator plate a couple of mo. ago,

after going through some trial- and- error, (i didn't know the proper installation method.)

now, the problem and my question is,

did anyone encountered with the same problem and solve the situation?

4- ig just suggested me to push it down firmly,
i tried it,
i actually sat on the hood and bounced on it,
pounding on it, almost did hand- stand on it,
and still won't close.

Sounds like if you DO get it closed you're in for some serious rubbage issues. I'd take this up with 4ig!

yes,
you have to adjust the plate. Mine was too far out. Just loosen all the screws again, try closing, then tighten them down.

How do you adjust the latch?
I noticed that I had some rubbing occuring on mine...so i flattend it out by given it a few good stomps.
