Default Camera mounts....options

I've got a track day coming up and I'd really like to get some footage in my S. In the past, I've used one of those that attachs to the post of the headrest. Seeing as we don't have those on the S, I'm looking for alternatives.

I know there are a few mounts that replace the windblocker. What are my options there and where can I get one?

thanks

Modifry just came out with a new one that I used for my last track day. It's a suction cup mount and the price is right too. I'd definitely check it out. I had the wind visor mount from ztec and the height just makes you look like you're going too slow. I don't see it on his website, but I would email him and ask. It was only $50-60 or so I think.

There's the Ztec one that replaces the wind-screen thing. It is on their website (Ztec Industries). I made one similar to the Ztec one. All I did was take the top of a tripod (which it appears is what Ztec uses) and mount it onto a bent piece of metal. It only cost a couple dollars, opposed to $150 for Ztec. Here's a pic.

I bought a bulletcam and attached it to the side of my helmet. I really like the results.

Some screen grabs from the video:

Are you able to put up the video? I'm pretty curious!

on my ap1, the rear wind screen only bolt down by two bolts.

you could pretty much fab up anything with a rigid mounting point such as the unit shown by jakup

PM Modifry and ask about his suction cup device like Cyclon said. I've seen it at local meets and the thing is VERY secure.

I'm making my own right now. Will post pics once it's done.
