I did as Jakup, piece of steel $5 cut it 10 min, drill 3 holes 5 min. Mount it with bolts $5 - 2min.

Done, put tripod mount on to it (I had an old tripod) but found a similar one for $10 at walmart.

Sticky Pod

This way you're not stuck with the same position over and over again. I've run my Sticky Pod up to 100 MPH and it held on with good footage for about 4 hours on the Dragon last year. I've also attached it to the interior of the car with a still camera set for longer exposures (to blur the background) and take shots while just cruising around town.

Or set your camera for a faster shutter speed when on a drive:

Both of those shots had the pod attached to the hardtop inside and I was triggering the camera with a remote.

Can someone give tips on how to make that metal piece? Can you buy a pre-bent piece or do you need to do this yourself? Is there a how to?

You also need to look into industrial suction cups.

Bulletcam sounds like a great idea. Gives a driver's perspective.

Where exactly are you mounting it in your interior?
