i read in the homepage article about suspension last month that lowering springs and aftermarket dampers can hurt your handling if they are'nt matched properly

i've just put on some asa ar1's (thanks tirerack) and am now ready to lower but everywhere i shop for these parts they don't say "made to work with this spring or this damper" in paticular

any help/info much appreciated
