Default can cable chains be used on S2k?

i saw a guy driving his benz 4dr with "cable chains" today. they were called "scc shur grip z6" or something, and he had them on rear tires only. we were at supermkt parking lot w/ lots of snow, and he showed me the traction capabilities with those on.. just incredible.

he said they were so easy to put on/off too. i wonder if these can be used on S2k as well? they were taking up very little space over the tires.

Honda Japan used to sell (don't know if they still do) "plastic" snow chains for the OEM rims/tires. They would not sell them to N. American customers.
