M&S Tires
I picked up my 2001 a few weeks ago. I was looking at the tires today and I discovered that they are Cooper Touring SLE M&S tires.
They are the correct size and like new which is great I guess, but I live in Houston so it is not a case that I can use them during the winter.
Has anyone else used M&S tires during winter time?

Those of us who have chosen to drive their cars in the winter, most likely will have snow tires on their cars. This car is a blast to drive in the snow with snow tires on it. I have a second set of OEM wheels with my snow tires mounted on them. I can switch in just a couple of minutes that way.
I have found that M&S tires are not really that good for mud or snow on RWD cars. They are fine for FWD cars. They might be better than stock tires if you have a rainy season. Other than that, you might be better to try to sell them to someone with a FWD or AWD car who lives in the north. How the heck did a set of M&S tires end up in Texas anyway?
