Can the clutch ratio be changed?
I hope the title is not confusing. I've noticed recently that I seem to have to push the clutch all the way to the floor or I'll occasionally grind a gear on a lazy shift. It doesn't seem to be a problem if I really jam the shifter into gear though, and it is not specific to any gear (like 2nd).
The clutch pedal goes down just over half an inch before there is any pressure, and the engagement point is about two inches beyond that when starting out, so the clutch seems to be properly adjusted. I'm just wondering if it is possible to modify the leverage or something with the clutch to get it to disengage sooner. I know this can be done on motorcycle hydraulic clutches, so it should be possible in a car too.
Have any of the aftermarket parts suppliers already provided a solution to this?

There is an ajustment over the pedal, you can ajust the pedal to make it farher from the floor when at rest. In that case your pedal will travel more when pushing on it and help the clutch plate to disengage a little more of the clutch disk.
It didn't help with me but helped some guys here.
