Default Newbie Questions

I have searched the archives and found a whole bunch of information. I would like to get input on the following questions:

1. What choices do I have for a CAI? Which brand is preferred and why? Who is the best source to buy from?
2. Is there going to be a significant difference in handling if I install a front upper strut brace? Which brand is preferred?
3. Has anybody noticed slipping when you dump the clutch off the line?

Thanks in advance for your time.

1) xviper commented on. if you want #1, 2 or 3 on the list of CAI's let me know.

2) no. mainly because our cars dont have struts. we have a coilover shock with an upper and a lower a-arm. sure it does strengthen the shock towers, but the bang for the buck would be an x-brace which ties underneath the car.

3) if you plan on doing this, do this sparingly, and it will save you dollars in the long run.
