Turbo_pwr is correct. What type of wheel? Do they offer different offsets? You need at a min. +47 in the rear and +42 front. Thats the lowest you could go to get away without rubbing at a 1 inch drop with decent tire sizes. If you go any lower you will rub with any size tire at a 17 or 18 inch app. wheel.
Trust me I have gone through 8 sets of wheels in the 3 years I have owned my S.

If you cant get any better offsets then I would seriously start looking at different wheels.

There is no way your combination will work. Have you done your homework? Your rear wheels will stick out 1.8-inches in the rear and look like a freakin' Wrangler. The fronts will stick out nearly 2.5-inches!!!!!
You need to pick new wheels and tires.
Wider wheels, larger offsets.

Going with your wheel widths...I would not go more aggresive than:
19x8.5 +50
18x8.5 +70
these should sit just about flush with the fenders...

for the front id recommend going with a
18x7.5 +50
18x8 +60
you would still be able to fit the 225 tyre widths with these

Take the advice being given out. They'll look like a ghetto roller. The wheels will stick out like crazy.

Forget it, I give up. You need to think more logically, if we are telling you the wheels will stick out, common sense would tell you that spacers make them stick out even more?

Obviously this guy doesn't get it. So if your gonna buy the wheels sell your car, cause you will be embarrassing all s2000 owners.

Why don't you just purchase the wheels from one of our suppliers, 2 come to mind. Evolution for Volks Wheels and Tire Rack for a bunch of brands. They will sell you wheels with the correct offsets and stand behind their sales.
