Default Can I remove front mud flaps?

So, yesterday I was driving and I found road was flooded in front of me, and I had to u turn over the little curb and obviously I scraped badly and clipped my front mud flap.

Is it ok to remove them both? or my car would feel different when i'm driving in the rain without them?

It sucks that everything is flooded here and yesterday I even saw a man in the car stuck in the water . He couldn't get out of the car!!!!

I have read that some people get vibration after they removed them. I still have mine on so I cannot verify...

Yes yes, whatever those little black flaps attached on the front bumper.

are you talking about the flaps in front of each of the 2 front tires?
if so, yes you can remove them (they're an option in Japan).
i believe they're mainly for aerodynamics.

vibrations without them? i was thinking of removing these as well now that my car is lowered. i am hearing lots of scraping going on under there and i think it is those flaps.

i am interested to know if they are really for airflow or rain/mudguards.

They could deflect some road debris and keep dings and chips away from the lip of the fenders. Also other benefits maybe such as airflow for cooling and aerodymics.
I really don't know though, but I'm keeping mine in place.

You are talking about the inner fenders right? I thought about removing them but was wondering about it myself, i may keep them on to avoid stone chips on the inside of the fenders
