Default Can this be my new baby

Good morning all. Been enjoying everything I've read on this forum and would love to become an "official" member by owning a
S2k. With that, I need a sanity check. There's a mint (truly mint) 2007 Rio yellow with only 7,000 miles for sale at a (non Honda) stealer in the north east and the best they'll do is 25,500. Wondering if that price is reasonable? Snce they won't budge further on price, any suggestions on what I should have them wrap in to the deal?

mmm I bought my 07 in 08 with 7k miles for 20.5k. I know it was around the time of recession but since the car is older now it seems like a pretty reasonable target to look for.

if this is the car I'm thinking of, you already got them a good bit off their crazy asking price. I happen to think its worth it.

That said, at 25.5 I doubt they're making more than 2k. I can assure you they didn't get that car cheap. I look at it this way- it's a nice discount off the price of a brand new one. Except you can't buy a new one. And that car is about as close as you can get.

Make sure it's the OTD price. Stealerships like to add fees and other bs fees to pad the price.

To the other posters, times are different now. Low mileage S2000s are fetching much more than they used to. I paid $29k for my 08 w/7700 miles a few months ago. But this also had to do with it being Grand Prix White.

If it's the car you want, I think that price is perfect.

I paid 25k for my 04 GPW in 06. It had 6,000 on it and was 9.8/10.

They were still making them at that time. Big difference.

Don't be surprised if ones with less than 10k on them start selling for above 30 soon.
