So I came down early this morning to go to work (I'm in the military)... and boy was I lucky to find my car had been (thankfully) chosen to be vandalized the night before... yippeee!

So.. the top was sliced open, but nothing was missing out of the inside... NOTHING. I had credit cards, cash.. second chance vest (im military police).. probably a good $600 worth of shit.. plus the credit cards... untouched. I was a little relieved.. until I went to start my car and noticed my hood wasn't latched.

I don't think it's too bad.. but for the life of me.. I can't figure out the name of the piece(s) that was taken.. can someone help me out from the picture below, please?

My sparkplugs are still in place.

That sucks dude.

Looks like you are missing all 4 ignition coils, your coil cover, and the allen head bolts that hold the cover down...

that's a bummer ... seems unusual that they would leave everything else inside alone and take only the coils & etc ... unless that's specifically what they were looking for.

 

the bolts were actually on the ground near the car..

 

are the coils on the S2k specific to it or will they fit other hondas?

 

yea... also there was a hand print on the hood also.. honestly looked like a little girls hand.. so i'll assume it was a kid.. i havent had a chance to dump money under the hood (due to being deployed).. so im going to guess they thought i had mods.. and was going to jack them.. obviously they were coming for shit under the hood if they brought a socket wrench with them.. ;/

 

thats some dirty sh&* to take the stuff. can't believe people just wont pay to get those parts new...

If you notice in the second pic that the igntion coil cover is sitting on the intake manifold.
the question I have is WHO THE HELL STEALS IGNITION COILS???
You should deff buy an alarm.
the whole kid hands comment may be true seeing that the top was slashed. they prob dropped the kid inside the car to pull the hood latch.
I would have the police copy that hand print.
