Driving is a sport to me.
Proper shoes only.
Even if I have to change them when I get to work.

If I'm going to be loafing, I'll take one of the alternate vehicles....

I usually drive barefoot. I wear flip flops most of the time and even when wearing regular shoes, I find they can be cumbersome. I have size 14s and it is impossible for me to heal-and-toe with the shoes on, not to mention I can't fit my foot next to the clutch on the dead pedal when just cruising with shoes on.

Once it gets a little warmer in So Cal, I rock the sandals everyday. When going from point A to point B, I don't need to be shifting "mAD yO FAsT".

Same...

I don't find it hard at all to shift with sandals or flip flops.

dress shoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, barefoot...as long as I am still able to heel-toe. Now thick boots, can't wear that...
