I've driven my S in running shoes, barefoot, big leather "gucci" shoes, combat boots....

However, the best footwear for me in terms of heel n toe action, a pair of crusty 4 yr old Birkenstock sandals.

If I'm wearing flip flops, they come off and I drive barefoot -- in any car.

I think driving with just a thick pair of socks works best for me. I never use shoes to drive this car because I am too tall.

flip flop???
yeah, i've done it before sandles...

dude, i think u r asking for it...
something like this will be used against you if u were to get pulled over by a cop or get into an accident...

sandles will surely never improve your shifting, perhaps mostly downgrade your performance...

i recommend getting a pair of shoes for driving, so u can change.

hey, it's not about looks. it's about heel-and-toe and double clutching on drag strips!
"drag" and "strip" may be involved with those boots, but probably not the way you used it...
