Default Can you polish the titanium mugen mufflers?

I think that the mugen exhaust system is somewhat dull looking. I have one coming in the mail to replace my invidia system (too loud), and what I am wondering is, if the tips or tips/muffler can be polished like the amuse system is. I think this would be much better looking. I have polished brushed aluminum before, so I know the process, and I know it is a pain, but I have never polished up titanum before. Has anyone else done this? If so, could you relate the process to me? Any input at all would be apreciated. Oh and by the way, the invidia will be for sale shortly.

I had both the Mugen and Amuse and actually preferred Mugen's dull finish.

I thought the Mugen was stainless steel. Are they making Ti now?

I have the daul SPugen TI's and they look fine w/o polish. Just wash and dry, that's all they really need.

So no one has done this before, huh? I know that the new Mugen exhaust for the MY '04's is polished, and looks pretty sweet. Come to think of it, i'm not really sure that the cans on that one are titanium... Hmmn.

How well does titanium polish? I know with aluminum that you use progressively more fine wet sandpaper. Would this work?

I have used just a normal metal cleaner/polish on both the SS piping, as well as the Titanium cans. The SS will polish up nicely, but the Titanium will just clean up. It will always have that dull look to them ... I prefer it.
