Default Can you swap the passenger and driver seats?

I thought it might be something worth doing to help distribute bolster wear and keep the seats looking better for longer. Obviously you would have to swap the rails at minimum. Has anyone ever attempted this?

I had my seats out the other day... you might need to change the rails but not 100% as they looked pretty similar... only problem is that you'll get a seatbelt warning light come up since driver's seatbelt has a sensor.

It's only a 5 minute job to take out seat so go ahead and do it Just be VERY careful when removing the seat as you may scratch the interior from the seat rail.

Seems like this wouldn't be easy since the seat belt receiver and the seat adjustments would then be on the wrong side.

^^ bugger such an obvious thing to miss!! Not sure if the seat belt receiver is connected to the seat itself or to the rail?? Or if the receiver can be unbolted and moved to the opposite side...?

Here's what you do,, I've done it twice,,, pull the seats,,, swap ONLY the bottoms,,, it's a direct swap,,, about 6 bolts per,,, leave the rails and all,, swap the seat belt sensor,,, done deal,,,
