Gee John, you've totaled almost as many cars as I have. Your events are usually funnier though...

I think this little story might be a winner. All this happened 4 hours after he got the spanking new S2000 off the dealership parking lot. We got back home so we can read over the features and all the goodies that the car has to offer. After a good hour of reading, our necks were about to fall off, so we decided to go to this nice set of twisties we know about half an hour away. My dad was driving and was taking it mildly on the crowded streets. We finally hit the twisties. What a great sight to behold when your in such a car. He takes it relatively easy on the first few turns to get the feel. Now he starts to hit double digits on the straights and takes the tires to their limit on the turns. The next few seconds went by sooo fast, that I'll try to give my best interpretation of what happened but that's it. The next turn was a hard left. Everything seems normal, but then the back end immediately started to give. My dad counter-steers it, but it is no use. Here we are going around 30mph sideways. Then out of no where, I feel a huge BANG, and I feel my pushed against the window. Then I feel all my weight on the window. THEN I FEEL ALL MY WEIGHT ON THE TOP!! ( We got our car in the winter, thats why are top was up, THANK GOD). I finally realize that we had flipped. I wasn't wearing a seatbelt so I got flung around. My dad on the other hand was fine. After a couple seconds of checking myself and saying "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED" My dad gets out of the car first and I follow. Then we see another car with their whole front smashed up. Seems like we hit another car coming around the turn. Then you will never guess what happened next. This bald middle aged guy comes running towards my dad, from checking the damage on his car. He starts screaming about a wedding he has to go to and that we were ****ing idiots for driving like that. My dad tries to calm the man down, but somehow made his angrier. The bald guy then out of no where punches my dad in the face. He falls to the ground and hits his back on the wheel of the S2000. I honestly could not belive what just happened. Now the guy starts walking towards my dad. In a panic I try to trip him by pushing him over my leg. ( I don't know why, first thing that came to mind) I fail and he pushes me to the ground. I turn back to see them two fighting on the floor. I jump on top of the bald guy and start nailing him in the back of the head. At this time another car comes by and sees us going all out on the street floor. She has to stop anyway since both our cars are blocking the street. She comes running toward us screaming for us to stop. She then calls the cops and pulls us apart. The cops freakin come 20 minutes later. We were just sitting on the railing when they came. We explained the whole thing to the cops while the bald guy stayed in the cop car. Turns out the bald guy really was onto his way to the wedding. Here is the sick twist, he was on his way to his ex-girlfriends wedding to stop it and to beat up the groom that he was friends with. Since we were only defending ourself, we didn't have anything to worry about. The car got totaled and we got another 2001. If any of you don't belive this, I can probably find some pictures of my dad's wounds from the fight. We are still waiting to go to trail for medical expenses. Hopefully we will win. I haven't heard anything more about the guy, but I'm pretty sure he is in jail. I always wished the crash would have happened a little later so we could have gotten a 2002. Oh well

That was a good story ACE039, but what were you thinking not wearing your seatbelt.

This car tends to bring out the worst in people.
