Can you top this?
I am going to start a little contest of Can You Top This? I'll run the tread for a week and announce the winner next Monday. First (and only) prize will be an assortment of S2000 items. Simple rules - just relate a true and interesting story about your s2000. I may ask the board to vote on the best story.
I'll start off with an interesting fact about my S2000. I have owned it for 27 months and my wife has never been in it. She wasn't happy about my buying it and has refused to even take a ride. In fact, she once walked home from work about 2 miles in the rain even though I offered to pick her up. Women, can live with them....

Oh wow... I am definitely going to win this!
The only questions are; which story should I give you, and where am I going to find the time to type one of them up.
I have two really good stories
One story involves: a cop, a tree (well a few trees), a tape measure, some champagne and fine food, and me doing a little landscape work for a very close and very new friend of mine.
And the other story involves: a flood, me being naked on the interstate, a semi, me walking through waste deep water for four hours, and later me being on a strange woman's sofa wearing her sweat pants while she is in the shower when her big husband (her very big husband --- about three of me) comes home.
I will see if I can find the time to type up one of the stories soon.
But before I waste a good day typing up this novel, will you elaborate more on the prize?
Many people on this board have heard both stories (in person) and they always get many laughs. I have always thought that I would keep them a secret and only tell them in a face to face kind of situation. In fact I just decided, the tree story will never be told over the internet, and to be honest, I don't know really if I want to publicize either one as I would not want the whole world to know either story.
They are both true and actual events that have occurred to my S2000 and me. We have had quite a rough relationship, but we grow stronger and closer together overtime. We have quite a chemical bond going on.
I tell you what... come to S2K Days II and I will tell them both to everyone that attends.

Can it be a story about someone elses S2000???
Along the same lines as yours....
I was playing golf with one of my colleagues a couple of weeks ago. He mentioned that he saw me arrive in my S2000 and that he used to own one.
I asked him why he had sold it. His answer was amazing.......
He had wanted to buy the S2000 as soon as it was released, but his wife objected to him buying it. He still went ahead with ordering it, and managed to get down from an 18 month wait (that is what it was in Japan when they first relesed them) to 6 months after finding a garage that had had an order cancelled.
After he took delivery, he couldn't bring himself to tell his wife, so he rented a garage a little way from his house and kept it there!! He didn't tell his wife that he had it and used it at the weekends whenever he was out without her.
Anyway the reason he gave me for selling it was that he didn't want to lie to his wife anymore.
How long had he owned it? TWO YEARS!!!!!!!
Anyone else on this board, married, who would be able to hide the purchase of a US$ 40,000 car from their wife, and pay out something like US$ 400 a month to keep it in a garage somewhere??????

I haven't decided on the specfic prizes yet but I am sure it will be something any S2000 owner will be able to use. The last time I did this, I gave away an oil filter (new), an S2000 model and two red Hs.

John David,
Despite a great recommendation from RT, you will have to give up one of your stories to an eager audience. It sounds like either one of them has movie potential.
Perhaps like J. Peterman, someone can buy one story from you.

While I may not be J. Peterman, and I've already heard both of the stories John is talking about, I think RT is right: you'll have to take these ones on faith.
Long time no so see JPit! PM me your address so I can get you a copy of S2000Porn Volume 1. Just don't let your wife see it, she might toss it out the window in protest.
