Default Canadian 2003 S2000 price...

As this is my first post please excuse me if this question has been answered before (I did use the "Search" feature) and please excuse me if I have parachuted into the wrong forum category!

I have been shopping for an 03 Mustang Cobra (before anyone snickers appreciate these cars are putting 470-480 lbs of torque to the rear wheels with minor mods) and during my 03 Cobra hunting I stumbled across a few S2000's and minus the low torque I am very impressed.

I live in Vancouver BC (Canada) and was at a Honda lot that had a new 2003 S2000 (black) with a sticker price of ~$44,500. The salesperson seemed willing to lower that price as well. What price could the car be had for? I am not looking for a "salesperson makes $5" price, but how much lower could that price go? I think someone on this board knew someone who paid $42,000 CAD plus taxes? Does this sound right?

Try the Vancouver board here:

$44.5k Can is a fair price and rumours of $43.5k are around too, but it all comes down to the salesman (and you) on the day. Check the Canadatrader site for prices on a used 03 as a comparison.

My opinion? If you can get it at $43k, bite his hand off.

Well, MSRP for 03's were 48,600.

Its still a brand new car, who cares if there's a new model. Sounds like the price you could get would be a great deal.
