Default Canadian Owners: Buying S2K in Canada a ripoff?

To buy an S2K in Canada seems like a ripoff because the starting price is slightly more than $50,000CAD which currently is about $44,432.60 U.S. dollars according to Google. No one in their right minds in the US would pay that unless the warranty never expires. However buying from the US with Canadian money you save yourself more than $15,000 right there because $30,000USD us about $33,759. And that's if you buy a new S2K. Used S2000s go for anything from $23,000-$45,000 Canadian from what I can find.

Do most canadian buyers buy from the states, hold out for a sweet deal, or suck it up, bend over, and pay whatever the dealer wants?

if your looking for used, there is some decent deals coming up now, I agree you cant beat the 20KUSD mint US S2000's but for 28-32k CDN you can find a nice ap1 and even sometimes an ap2 car.
