I finally got my VIN on Saturday. 2002 Suzuka Blue S2000 #00044. Is this the lowest VIN for Suzuka Blue? The car is in the country and am waiting for it to be trucked to the dealership. I anticipate two weeks (Dec.1)

You might be surprised at how fast you'll get the delivery, they seem to like to tell you much longer in case it happens. Enjoy the sleepless nights until it arrives

 

hi Louie! where did u buy ur car from?? meidl honda??? i also ordered a 2002 s 2000 red, but i didnt get the Vin# ?? Damn, the salesman keeps saying my car is already on board. i ordered my S 2000 in mid Oct. the salesman said it will be here around mid Dec. Hey, by the way, the salesman told me there is a suzuba blue is ordered, never thought that it was you. now i am kinda scared that they will give me a 2001 S 2000 , coz it is kinda hard to tell if they change all the parts!!!

I did order it from Meidl Honda. Yes, the Suzuka Blue that is coming is mine. I had talked to the General Manager in September and he arranged it with Mr. Meidl (owner of the dealership and who is tight with top brass at Honda Canada) that I get assigned a Suzuka Blue the earliest possible. Judging from the low VIN, it is probably the first batch of S2000's headed for Canada. I suspect that your red one will be on the next ship. Probably January 2002 delivery.

I don't think they will give you the 2000 or 2001 car since there are differences (Glass rear window, primarily). The 2000 Red S2000 is still available (sitting on the showroom floor as I type).
