Default Candle wax burning smell?

I've noticed if I drive my car for a while, when I get out I can small a slight candle wax or plastic burning smell. I thought maybe something was wrong with just my car, but my friend's smells exact same way.

I noticed the same smell on my friend's S2000 when he came back to his garage after 20 minutes on a road course.

Anyone know why it smells like this?

Its your vtec oil....j/k. I only noticed a smell after I put on a new exhaust, so I'm not sure what it could be.

The resonator on my exhaust snagged a plastic bag handle. its apparently in the perfect spot for it, if you allow a bag to get sucked under your car. try check that? my next mission is to scrub the black crap off.. cuz its still smelling up my car

My car is completely stock and there is nothing snagged. My friend's is modded but this was on a road course, so there aren't any plastic bags to get snagged.

No one else smells anything after getting out of their car?

Uh-oh...

No...I smell it too. I've described it as a "hot glue gun" smell. I've noticed it on several different occasions, but not every time. Usually late at night when it is slightly cooler (as I've only had my car since this summer).

It's not a "something is burning" smell...it's just a faint "that smells different than other cars I've had" smell. So, I'm not too worried about it *

* cut to me standing on the side of the road, car up in flames, feebly attempting to extinguish said fire with the remnants of my water bottle.
...God I hope not.

Hot Glue is a good description...

I wonder if this is just what this motor smells like...

Definitely not clutch, I know what that smells like.
