Even when I first got the S2K and it was bone stock I got the same crap.

I'm sure the Invidia is part of the reason. That is one of the louder and more fart cannon looking exhausts out there which will contribute to attention a bit. (assuming it is not the q300)
Either way just ignore it.

 

I have never had people try to race me in Los Angeles, which I still can't believe. I have had a lot of people come up to me at gas stations and ask about the car. The look on their face when I say its a Honda. And they ask what kind?, in a look of amazement.

 

I never get approached to race. Somehow, I think the Suzuka paint gives me instant "sleeper" status.

 

When I drive my 280z I always get that as well. Took it to the track for a few runs and raced a guy who thought his civic was all that. Needless to say he was not happy to find out mine is about 150hp/180hq more than his. He thought mine was all stock with just an exhaust. (L6's sound nothing like a V8)

I love telling people that its a HONDA!! Some people just don't know what type of car it is. They always say nice car and btw what is it? I always say its a HONDA!

 

i get alot of this too, especially from hondas, Si's, tc's, lancers, cumstangs, and camaros i usually ignore them but sometimes they get so annoying that they just follow me, actually last night i had some stupid kid probably driving his moms new lancer thinking he was all cool and he would floor it next to me and it pulled so slow lol i was laughing to myself and thinking im not gonna waste my gas on this idiot and he kept on following my for little over 9 miles until he just got tired of following me.
my car is totally stock from the outside the only dead give away is my single but little do they know what i have lol untill they hear it screaming and my back-end braking loose when i shift.
i noticed when i had my stock exhaust people would just stare at me more and now that i got a single i guess they think this S likes to race or something but i usually just ignore them, or if i get to a red light il rev it that way they take off like idiots and one time i got lucky and i knew there was a cop and they pulled over the guy for launching his car,it was hilarious haha
