I finally got me a pair of Honda emblems after it got stolen a while back. The front emblem went in easily without a problem. But I can't seem to get the rear emblem. I pushed so hard that i thought I was gonna dent my trunk but it didn't even come close to go in.

The rear emblem is larger than the front with plastic plugs right?

Any tips?

 

You can't get the pins to go in? Do they seem to line up at all? There are plastic clip type things on inside of the trunk to catch the pins. Maybe they are floating around in your trunk lid. Did you get exact copies of the chrome only ones that came with the car or did you get the JDM emblems?

 

No, you have them on backwards! The rear will fit the front without problems, but the front will not go into the rear. Good luck getting the emblem off!

 

I think I figured out why. When my emblems got pried off.. the plastic clips were still in the hole while they only pried the emblem off. My new emblems have new plastic clips on them, so thats why it won't go in.

Gonna test it out after dinner.

 

Eww.. ok well if thats the situation, I think you can pull those plugs out from the inside of the trunk

 

Got it out with a pair of pliers. Easy fit once they were out. Finally.. I was getting tired of my friends laughing everytime they see my car.

 

It's amazing and stupid that people are stealing Honda Stock badges.
