You could also get a shift beeper so you know when it's at redline.
Shift beeper can let you know other points as well.

Hey guys, thanks for the input!

I think I'm going to like it here, cause you guys don't seem like jerks.... yet! Just kidding of course.

Anyway, I rode my Ninja to Jacksonville today (From Deltona, 120 miles, yikes) and drove what will be my new S2000. I'm not sure how it was adjusted, but the seat was perfect and I could see the tach just fine.

I didn't spend much time adjusting the seat in the other car because it was really late, and the car was (in my opinion) a bit of a train wreck. I didn't want to waste too much of the seller's time.

In case the seller is reading, it actually wasn't so bad, just not in the condition I needed it to be.

I'm 6'3" and I can see the tach. On my 00 I lowered the seat rail and I think it was a little more comfortable in a few respects. I had a better viewing angle of the dash, I had a better viewing angle of stop lights and I felt like the lumbar support fit more where it was supposed to. I would suggest going that route if you do pick one up.

Well, shop around a bit more. There are quite a few S2000s going for sale. Also check out the "For Sale" forum here.

Anyway ... good luck dood

6'3'' here,

1) lean the seat forward (vertical adjustment)

2) now adjust the horizontal adjustment all the way back

3) sit in the seat and adjust the vertical as far back as possible
