Didn't use the parking brake without properly cooling down your brakes, right?

All of the above are great ideas.

After a track day I check the oil. Depending on how long it has been since I drove the car really hard for an extended period of time, I will change the tranny, oil, and diff fluid as well. Sometime I do all of those BEFORE a track session, again depending.

I check the wheel torque after each track session and at lunch during an autoX.

so you guys check lug nuts as well? your not talking about the axle nut or anything like that right? (big one after removing wheel)

And yea I tried my best to remember not to set the parking break. should I just leave it in gear even if its on a hill...is that really bad or anything?

I try to avoid using the parking brake as well, but if the car is parked on an incline, I will pull it.

Unless you've just braked super hard from high speed right before parking the car, I don't think using the parking brake actually does any harm, after all Honda designed it for usage when parked.

What _might_ cause rough spots on the discs (felt as slight vibration) is braking for a full stop and then leaving the brakes engaged, like when racing up to and then stopping at a traffic light.

Regarding hard driving, check fluids and tires regularly, and let the car cool down a bit by taking it easy on the last coupla miles, that's it.

I leave it in gear and throw my spare tire behind a rear wheel (or a tire chock). Braking hard for two hours and then using the parking brake is usually a good way to warp rotors.

get a big rock

people in track day use jack, jackstand, spare donut, gf and other beater car for "line lock"

you DON'T have to do this if you give it enough time to cool down, people at the track only gets one lap or two after the checker, so they HAVE to park with a hot disk

The thing that will make your brakes vibrate most is using "words" like "lol" in a forum more than once every 10000th post! lol
