Default Car Alarms

I have 2 questions for you all. First does anyone have any input on the different DEI alarms? My feeling is they are all pretty much the same just different stickers on them, viper, python, ect

Get Lojack Early Warning.

That way you can leave the car always unlocked/top down and not even have to worry about getting you roof slashed.

Basically the second you car moves without your key fob inside it you get a phone call at up to five #'s or even e-mail. You the call the police, activate lojack and get your car back real quick.

If you already have lojack, the early warning upgrade costs about the same as an alarm system.

I know if they want to steal it they will but i might have stuff in the car that id also like to not worry about. maybe something in the trunk, or kids messing w/ the seats ect.

I like the lo-jack early warning though, ill have to look into it.

The shop I work for deals with DEI. Most there alarms are the same. We use Clifford, which has almost all the same things as Viper. The top of the line model has 2 way paging and options for internet tracking and being able to call a phone number to unlock or activate the alarm.

Really dont reccomend do it your self alarm installs. If its taking a professional about 5 hours to do an alarm like this, imagine how long it will take you. Find a good shop, not Best Buy or any chain store to do the install.

As mentioned before though, if someone really wants the car, they can still get it.
