A Car Is Born....
Okay, now you guys have me chompin' at the bit. I've waited for several months now for my '02 spa, having turned up my nose at the '01s available on the showroom floor. The born on date was 11/29 . . . I even have the VIN number. Dealer says it "might" arrive before Christmas or maybe the first week of January.
So how long should all this take???? And how come people in Texas get theirs quicker than us Californians . . . Heck, we're closer to Japan than you guys . . . what gives?
This will be the first '02 the dealer has seen. I'm getting it for MSRP. It sure gets harder as the date draws near.

Wow,
i still remember the day when i first got mine. i stood in my garage just looking at the car for about 30 minutes. i was admiring the shape of the fenders, the glisten of the Spa paintjob, the always lovely and intoxicating new car smell, and best of all knowing that I owned an S2000. A car that i only dreamed about owning years before and now imagination became reality. Its been about a little over six months since that day, and I still admire the car the same and thank God for being blessed enough to live the life that I live and giving me the gifts that I do so love.

All the owners here have a story to tell about waiting. Some of my lady friends compare it to a man giving birth, i.e. 9 months (some more/some less) of pure Hell! I went through that "when is it gonna come?" pain and agony this past July. But to put your mind's at ease, it's an experience that is short-lived. Plus the satisfaction that comes when you first see your "very own" S2000, the first drive, the first admiring look from other motorists, the first marriage proposal while on the road
(actually happened but had to pass
) will more than make up for the distress you now feel. So relax, enjoy the s2ki.com web site stories and pics because you too will soon be posting your "I got mine today" thread.
