Default Car Cover

I have a new red s2000 and do not have a garage. I ordered a car cover from california car cover.( http://www.calcarcover.com/) It is custom for the s2000 and fits very well. It even has a pocket for the antenna. It is very easy to put on and take off.

Here is my quandry ! I put the cover on at night and in the morning remove it before i go to work. The cover is wet in the morning so i can't fold it up. It needs to dry out or I will ruin it. So the question is should I cover it during the day in the bright sunlight or cover it at night. What do you think will protect the car more ?

Put it on at night. In the morning, stuff it into a garbage bag and stick it in the trunk. Drive to work. Take it out and put it on at work. It will dry and protect the car.

Am I missing something here?

Funny you asked about car covers. Today in Colorado we had some pretty rough weather. Tornados and HAIL! So when I was at work I ran out and threw the car cover on.

It was wet. I just placed it in the trunk and when I got home laid it out on the patio, and it should be dry tomorrow.

The NOAH cover I have was pretty hard to put on and take off. Any advice anyone?

I only use my cover when I believe it's going to hail. And when it is in the sun for a long period of time. Just use good leather cleaner and conditioner and your leather should be fine.

stookster is right...
you need 2 covers for your situation.
take off the wet cover in the a.m. and hang it out. when you get home it will be dry and ready.
barry- if the cover is wet in a bag it will likely get some of the inside wet which would not be good for the car's finish. if you use barry's idea, make sure to carefully fold the cover so that the wet spots dont contact the interior of the cover (a less expensive alternative to mine though!)
