Car cover, good for winter?
I've got an aftermarket car cover that's supposedly rain resistant and what have you. I don't have a garage, so I put the cover on the car and tucked it away for the winter. Since we haven't had any friggin snow yet in central Pennsylvania, I decided to take the car out for a spin today and when I took the cover off, there was moisture under the cover. It's been raining for the past week or so, so I guess that's where the moisture came from, but I was curious whether this was a bad idea? Should I just leave the car exposed and let the snow pile on? I'll sweep it off when I can, but I figured it would be better to keep the snow off the car with a cover.
Anyone got any input? Is the moisture going to ruin or rust anything if it can't escape the cover?
Thanks,
-geoff

as above-
garage is best choice, water proof cover is second choice.
no cover isnt a choice unless you dont care!
if you use a water proof cover, it can allow condensation (moisture under the cover), so you do need to check it every once in a while. a couple of good winter details are a good idea to protect the paint.
