Default Car cover recommendations

I just drove home my new Suzuka Blue '03 tonight, with the top down of course. Thanks to you guys on this board for helping choose the S2000 over a used Boxster.

I garage the car, but would like a nice thick car cover to protect it from my cat, who likes to sleep on the cars. Any suggestions on a nice fitted cover?

Thanks

I went to California car Cover. Cal Car Cover and had mine custom made. It is a little pricey but well worth it. I love it and bring it with me whenever the car iis not in the garage overnight. Of course i do have it on in the garage also.

Hey Paulie do you have pictures of it? I'm just curious as to how it looks, because with the front lip on the car cover can't cover the lip to well.

Thanks

Are any covers better than others for outdoor storage? I'm going to be parking outside all summer with no cover and I'm trying to decide if its worth getting a cover for the car.

The Honda car cover is not a good choice for parking outside. It won't stand up well to weather. If you just want protection from weather, the sun, and bird droppings, etc, something like a WeatherShield fabric would be good. WeatherShield is pretty thin and easy to manage. It folds up to a fairly small size. But keep in mind that it doesn't really provide ding protection.

That's what my cover is made out of and the fit is excellent for the S2000. I guess they also have a WeatherShield HD now that is a thicker fabric that provides ding protection, too.

For indoor use the Dustop cover works great

For a car cover - this is the one web site to go to.
www.autoanything.com

Auto Anything uses patterns made by Cover Craft and they are the best patters, and that means you get the best fit.

If you are worried about the kitties, Evolution4 fabric is THE WAY to go. It is way thicker than the thin OEM cover. The web site listed here will give you all the info on what cover is good for rain, sun, dust, dent protection.......
