Default car does werid stuff at high speeds???????

I was driving down the highway yesterday and i was doing some where near 80+ mph. My car started to sway back and forth like i was moving the wheel from side to side. This never happened before the car was feeling funny the last few days too. Any help??

Check your tire pressure. Tires could be low even if they don't look low because of the stiff sidewalls.

As dumb as this sounds... what was the weather like... Temperature, and wind for that day.

Even if it is not windy, certain temperature conditions can cause this.

I too have experienced this, and rest assure nothing wrong with your S2000.

Alignment is my guess.

This car (for some reason) is very senstive to alignment, in my opinion.

I had very strange twitchiness in my car around corners until I had a slight performance alignment (slightly out of spec, but not enough to trash the tires), and the whole car just CHANGED. Extremely driveable now, even in the rain, even if I slide around corners. Nice and predictable.

Check it again. I picked up a nail and didn't realize it for a few days. I lost over 10 pounds in 1 day. By the time I realized what was causing my driving issues the tire pressure was down to 12 pounds! There was very little tire deformation. Had it fixed for $16.

That sounds like bump steering. Check for spring spacers in your suspension. Seems like yours might be a little stiff.

Also, 40 psi is pretty high to run the tires at. The recommended psi from Honda is 32. Most people run a few psi above that, but 40 is pretty high.
