Car & Driver comments on 2004 S2000
"Will Honda soften the temperament of the purest sports car sold in America? Official S2000 details won't be released until the Tokyo show this month, but our spies suggest yes: more displacement (2.2 versus 2.0 liters), a little more torque, a little more elbowroom, a modest face lift, lower revs, and a softened suspension."

Look like they agree with the general perception around here. Let's hope it isn't softened too much.

lmao...........I could start talking bad about the Z car, but I feel that this thread will become an all out Mugen vs. Nismo battle if I do.

Not that i care about any mag's opinion that much, but the blurb on the 04 in Road and Track was all positive about the proposed changes - I do not have it memorized, but they said it would be "faster off the line" the "improved performance required changes in the intermediate gears", and "handling refinements"? Where is the sturm und drang in that? All this proactive hatred is amusing though...

am i glad i got this model
