y r there so many comp. tests wit all those cars? and each one is different..

 

But they're all convertibles and fighting for the same market share

 

Road & Track also did a nice article on the S2000 versus the Nissan 350Z roadster with the S2000 winning. It is in the august edition.

 

So if they write something nice they've mended their ways and when they either don't write about it or write something negative they're a bunch of idiots? How fickle some people are....

 

No, Strike:

When they ranked the S2k poorly a few months ago, they tested it as a hardtop, against other hardtops. They also got some rather poor timed runs, suggesting a defective sample or a driver who did not know how to drive this particular car. There 0 to 60 then was over 10% slower than their earlier time, and this should have prompted them to inquire -- as 10% indicates a problem somewhere.

They are still rating the s2k low on "features". I guess they don't consider electric power steering, a frame plus unibody, finned diferential housing, and the like as "features".

They may have gotten the result right this time, but they still aren't very automotive literate for a CAR MAGAZINE!!!!! Pathetic.
