I kind of agree with rnye though he was bit too harsh. When I had a carfax acct, I helped one person checking up his car and as soon as I'd done that, I had many others pming me for the favor. I guess it doesn't hurt if he's just asking one car to be checked, but it's just in our human nature to have this "I got mine with $, why do I need to help you and let you free ride" attitude when it comes to helping out unfamiliar people.

I appreciate that there are people on here that aren't afraid to stand up for what they feel is right. It is kind of rediculious that someone will attack other people for it, and has to mock them calling them "savior".

These forums are to help eachother out it doesn't matter what the situation is. Its not theft if someone paid for the services car fax is getting their money.

I was trying to make a point in saying I have belonged to this forum for over 2 years. In that time I have never been flamed for asking for help. It has always been that way and people like you give forums like this a bad name. I guess if your bored and have nothing else to do thats your business.

How am I not supposed to think your calling me petty when you say come on dude its 20 bucks is this for real.

Like I said before if your not going to help why even open up my post? I have a reason to keep checking my posts. If nobody replies that is fine with me. I am not begging anyone to do anything. If they reply thats cool if not then I may have to get the carfax. If the car doesn't work out, I saved myself 20 bucks by asking someone for help. Nothing wrong with that.

 

You're welcome. Using someone elses Carfax that you didn't pay for is theft.

Rnye - what hell is wrong with you. The OP is not the first to ask for help with a carfax and he wont be the last. I really hope you dont chime in with your holier than thou attitude from now on when someone else asks for help. The OP is right, if you have nothing useful to add, dont bother. Lol, okay this is rediculious. Can you look that up in the dictionary and tell me about that too. I agree this should just be locked. This is kind of entertaining though having my own personal dictionary on hand.
