It's just not that expensive.....do you really need to steal the info??

This behavior (IMO) is comparable to walking into a 7-11 and taking a soda out of a case. After all what's the big deal there's 24 in there and I only took 1?!?

MODERATORS - These types of threads should be deleted. Threads like this are typically deleted from other boards and they should not be allowed here.(FWIW, I do not work for, or know anyone who is employed by Carfax)

while I must to agree with your statement Ray S, I almost must say that the CarFax fees are very much inflated.

The unlimited is a great deal, but a single run is way too expensive.

The first check is free. As far as "too expensive" goes it's a free country. Carfax if free to charge a price that the market will bear and the consumer is free to pass on the service. IMO, the cost is worth it (vs the much larger cost of buying a car that has been in a wreck).

Perhaps the Carfax could charge less if fewer people like "Trungie" stole the service......

In the end everything (from Heath Care, to car Insurance, to McDonald's coffee, to just about any product or service you could name) could be cheaper if freeloaders, cheats, and thieves (including those that engage in frivilous law suits) would get of their A** and provide for themselves.

But.......I digress. Just pay for the service.....it's just not that expensive especially for anyone that owns a toy like an S2000.
