Default CAR GOT BROKEN NTO :(

So I got a call from my wife today when I was getting off work to tell me the car got broken into. As always, they slashed the top Fortunately they only took the shiftknob. Appearently, they tried to remove my cluster, but I guess they either didn't have time or didn't know what they were doing. I'm lucky I installed my own custom seat locks as soon as I got the car, otherwise these babies would have been gone. I live in one of the best neighborhoods in South FL, but goes to show no matter where, no S is safe in the streets. Time to save for a hard top. This really sucks, I'm getting an alarm ASAP.

Found the seats like this. fokers couldn't remove the from bolts.

..and here's why. JB WELD FTW!

guess I have a reason to get a CR knob now

ghetto top repair meanwhile

My neighboor told me some kids were trying to steal the mufler off his car; it might have been the same punks.

Regarding the top, I will probably run this one on my own and just get a hardtop instead; my Ins. copayment is too high.

Sucks. Good luck with insurance. At least they didn't slash your seats out of spite!

True, I think you can definitely look at this on a bright side that nothing in your interior is slashed and damaged. Just a top to replace and a new shift knob

I feel for you. That really sucks! May be you should invest in a hard top. Alarm may go off or page you, but your top will still be slashed by the time you get to it.

Yes, most definately. That and an alarm are going to be my top priorities for the car now.
