Car got Keyed, what do I use?

I like the fire power that the Glock 17 offers. However, I'm not sure 9mm FMJ has enough stopping power...

[B]Walther......oh man. The PPK is also another model of firearm that we love in class........NOT! Along with the Browning, Taurus, Jennings, Lorcin and a bunch of other American and foreign made junk, these guns are the ones that consistently fail in our classes.
Just because the PPK works for James Bond doesn't mean it works in real life! I wonder how many people would still be alive today had they not being carrying one of the above-mentioned pieces-of-crap. Then again, on the flip side, I wonder how many innocent people's lives were saved because the crims were carrying one of these pieces of junk!!!!!!!
You can drive a Hyundai and it will get you from A to B, but if you can afford it, a BMW or Mercedes is a better engineered piece of machinery and will get you there in style. Just like the above guns compared to quality brands such as Sig Sauer, Glock, Kimber, Springfield Armory, HK, Beretta, Mauser, Steyr, Les Baer and Wilson Combat (just to name a few).
Sig Arms P226 - Now THAT'S a gun!
I still don't see why some people choose to carry a crappy gun that 'may' or 'may not' fire when it is most required to do so...in defense of ones life????

Personally I would use my Glock21. Theres nothing like the power of a good .45ACP. The 9mm is nice but you would have to unload just about the whole clip to take him/her down.
Anyways if you want to get the car fixed and you are in the Colma area you can have it done at my shop. We are a high end shop and do about $700K in sales each month. PM me and I will give you a deal. I would like to see how deep the scratches are.

NYPD carry the p226 in 9mm, so it must be good enough for them! I trained just last week alongside a NYPD FTS Instructor(Firearms and Tactics Section), and he was equipped with the 226 as a duty handgun. FTS is responsible for all the high risk entry assignments (including SWAT).
Personally, I carry a Glock 27 in .40 cal, but I also own a number of 9mm's. I like both calibers.
The 9mm has plenty stopping power........the premise of stopping power with regards to any caliber is your ability to actually hit what you are aiming at! A .45 is a useless caliber if the user cannot control it and misses the intended target. People often think that bigger is always better...not necessarily so!
Agreed...the .40 and .45 and .357Sig al have more knock down than the 9mm, but the 9 works just fine in the hands of a capable operator.
As an argument in semantics, there is actually no such word as 'clip' (I hate it when people use that word!!!). The correct terminology in the firearms instruction world is 'magazine'. But, it's your perogative......call it what you want
Cheers,

I got keyed. Body shop quoted $1568 to the insurance company. $100 out of my pocket, plus they're going aftr the guy who did it. I also have like 5 huge friends that have volunteered to kick his ass.
