sorry to hear this happened to you. it has happened to me and others i know, not just the car, sometimes these things are random and have nothing to do with you, perhaps the color, the setting, the time of day, the car itself? who knows what goes on in peoples minds that do this, it is sick and done by a real coward.

so..you are lucky, as said, a new paint job for $500 ded, and not your fault either! my car was : trunk lock smashed, wheel stollen with tire, top cut and then bent frame,stuff taken from trunk and interior of car, interior messed and scratched (i have to live with that), exterior scraches. 99.9% fixed and better than new, life goes on thankfully.

 

dang bro... sorry, that sucks. I seriously hate people... Had the Z06 keyed a little over a year ago (in Charlotte). 9 months ago (within one month of buying the G35), I had someone slash my tires in a parking garage and another person hit it while parallel parking and didn't leave a note or anything (Salt Lake City) About a month ago, I had somebody climb over the door and mess around inside the s2k and then climb back over and out when I was in a store for about 5 minutes... No respect...

To say the least, I went to Baltimore for 2 1/2 months to work, due to crime rates I didn't even have the balls to take one of my cars there, I was going to get a rental for that time, but my folks let me borrow one of their cars luckily
