Car was hit, what to do...?
My car was backed into while it was parked outside my g/f's house. the person was nice enough to come to the house and take responsiblity for it. the damage will be shown in the pics below. Im worried about paint matching other panels. the frontend looks like it could be repainted. should/can i complain that i want at least the fender or more painted so that it matches. also should i worry about this affecting the value of my car ,and what should i do about that.

Since the driver took responsibility, you should just find a good shop to paint it and remove the dent. Doesn't look like you need a new door skin.
It'd probably cost around 600-700 for a good job just on the door? I have no clue ... good luck man

get bodyshop estimate. go to dent wizard have them fix it , polish out the paint. keep the difference for your aggravation
Paintless dent removal should take care of it.

update: i went to 3 body shops and all of them said i would need a new door skin if i want it done right. mainly because there is 2 decent size creases in the door. estimates were around $1500-1600. its mostly because of labor. the insurance estimated it to cost around $1300.
as for the value of the car.....it is effected after something like this.
but you should be compensated for the depreciation value after the accident though. tell your insurance you want that covered( if your coverage takes that into account ). it's something they don't exactly tell you on the face of things....but always mention burden of "good faith" when dealing with insurance companies. it helps to cut through a lot of the bullshit.
good luck.
