Default Car Jack

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good car jack that will fit under the front in the center on level ground? I have Swift springs and OEM lip. Not trying to break the bank either.

Thanks.

I have this.

I'm at stock height and still have another 1.5-2" of clearances to go. I love this thing.

he want to jack it from the front. i have this one. it works with oem lip and my coilovers. but i only paid like $250 4yrs ago. If you dont want to spend that much just buy two harborfrieght and jack it on the side at the same time. I have that harbor frieght one too and i like it lot. its light but doesnt work on my suv.

Is is suitable for jacking via the center points per the OP or is just a low profile jack?

I've seen the Omega frequently recommended for center jacking.

This one will not reach the front-center jack point without putting the car on some ramps or boards.

My goal is able to center jack both front and rear and place a set of jack stands.

Jack stands: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ef=oss_product

Do you think it will be high enough in combination with a jack for me to go under the car comfortably to change the transmission fluid and in the future, install my own HFC and exhaust? FYI - I am neither skinny nor obese. I am 5'10 and weigh 170lbs. I'll say average.

I plan on spending $100 max for a jack.

Thanks.

That was my goal too.

There are only a couple of jacks that can lift even a stock height S2000 from the center points without first putting the car on ramps/boards (the above mentioned Omega being one of them). You won't find one for anywhere near $100.

I have the harbor freight race jack that was posted. for the price, it can't be beat. I am lowered on espelirs and I could go even lower and still be able to have clearance. It will reach the rear diff to jack up the rear in one fell swoop, the front I have to do each side individually. It's priced right (coupons in magazines for $55). I used it a few times every week and it hasn't failed yet.
