well according to my Honda service manual u r required to get maintanance done through the honda dealer at 30000 miles...
the light on ur cluster doesnt sensor the whole condtion of whole thing that are needs to be maintanance so..... i would say go to dealer and get them done ....

it's only a reminder. if you got your oil changed at 14999 your maint req light won't come up at 17999
It's only a reminder it doesn't know what you did and so on.
look in your manual is there is nothing other then oil change and filter change and intake filter change then just do the maint somewhere else
