Default Which car should I get? HELP!

I'm a real fickle person, and I'll be getting my car by the end of this month, and I can't seem to decide on which car to get. I was wondering if any of you guys can help me out. So far I've narrowed down the list by 3 cars...

1. Honda S2000
2. BMW M3
3. Infiniti FX35 awd

Can any or all of you guys vote on any of these cars and explain why you would choose any of those vehicles over the other. I would really appreciate if I can read some of the responses you guys make. If there's any car you would suggest then feel free to list the car down and reason why. Thanks guys for helping me decide on which car to purchase. Thanks again if you guys plan to put in your 10 cents.

I would take #1 over #2 w/o question. As for #3...do you want an SUV or sports car? I could see #3 being a 350Z to compare against the 2 other roadsters, but the FX isn't even comparable. You should describe your lifetyle and needs for us to make an accurate decision. You also must keep in mind that everyone on this board chose #1 over all other possible options.

Oops, I just realized that says M3, not Z3. Well, the BMW does have far more class and prestige, but the S2k is more of a sports car and holds a specific niche that isn't for everyone. I thought about late-90's M3's before I got my S2k, but I decided a M3 can be for later when I need more space.

Prestige: M3
Looks subjective: M3 > S2k >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>330. I know 330s not in it but I need to make the point of how much superior the M3 is to the 330.

But if you have a beater, I'd get a C6 Z06. Nothing under 100k is better IMO in terms of overall value. I'd take the C6 over an NSX, M3, Carrera, or S2000. Only Z06, not the base.

As far as FX35, I'd only take the 45 and if you compared these to the other SUVs like X5, Mercedes SUV, and Lexus I'd take the FX over those.

I also concur with the M3. I would take the M3 in a heartbeat. The only reason why I have an S is bc I dont have an M3. But I would wait a little bit, the new M4 is coming out soon. And I agree on getting the fx 45 instead of the 35. That extra 35hp makes a difference. But that is an array of cars you've listed.. 1.S=real sporty. 2. M3=sports coupe. 3. FX=suv. What kind of car are you really looking for? are you going to be driving it all year? does it snow where you live? the list goes on and on...

I used to have an E46 M3. I sold it to buy my S. The M3 is a great GT car, but it is not a sports car.

It would make more sense if you asked for opinions choosing between the S, Mazdaspeed Miata, Boxter, Elise, etc.

Do you want a sports car, GT, or SUV?

Why don't you add Ford F150 and Mack truck to your list?

I honestly do not consider the FX series to be a very practical SUV. I think it is more of a "bling factor" wagon then anything else. I thought they were cool for a minute until I saw A) the interrior/cargo area and B) the price tag.

If you are seriously looking for something along the lines of the FX I would reccomend the Murano. I test drove a fully loaded one and it was very impressive. Tons of features, drove great, and lots of cargo room (at least more so than the FX).

The downside to the Murano is that they seem to be EVERYWHERE so there is zero exclusivity(sp?) to be had in owning one. They can also tip the scale towards $40k if you're not careful when checking the option boxes. A nicely equipped one with awd, HID, and leather is around $34k.

As for your other two choices...as others have replied, you sound a little...confused. Again the only reason I can imagine the FX being included in your list is for the "bling factor", but if thats a concern just go with the M3.
