Maybe you need to see some showable and "Clean" S2000's. Just for comparison.

Car 1: nice. a bit too low for my tastes... but is "clean"
Car 2: unpainted hood. tacky front bumper and sides. stickers... not "clean"
Car 3: silly side skirts, otherwise, looks good.

Well, if we have to decipher and translate what you're saying, it makes it harder for us to figure out what you're saying. So, you can either spend the 5 seconds, write properly, lose the self-entitlement attitude, and we can help.

Put some effort forth, and we'll do the same. Be lazy and ignorant, and you'll get the same in return.

There's an entire wheel thread in the Gallery. Find a set that speaks to you. None of us can tell you what YOU thinks looks good. We can tell you what WE think looks good, but then you're building a car for US. You asked why the judges didn't pick your incredibly modified car for a trophy, we gave you our opinions and now you're mad about it?

Also, before you go spend money on new wheels, check out the classifieds... there are ton of sets of wheels for sale for pretty good prices, which will help you hit your target budget.

Although I agree with some of your comments, they don't add much to the thread. Get ten guys to look at the same pics and you will get ten opinions.

The rest of your advice was excellent.

OP, your car is hideous. If you want other examples of hideous, feel free to peruse this forum's gallery. You should fit in well there. People on that section of the forum have no taste. Hellaflush, etc., etc. All disgusting and embarrassing to be seen in.

Bad taste happens in this section of the forum as well. Take, for example, the guy who posted examples of "clean cars" in this very thread and how he then goes on to post a picture of a car with an unpainted CF hood. Baffling.

i don't want to hate because you've already gotten a lot of that but i have to agree with what most people have said. Your car looks nice and all but it just doesn't look special enough.

Car show in the USA...American made will win almost everytime. The appreciation for imports just isn't there yet for classic cars and collectables. Our day will come soon enough though.

Want further proof? Look at the ratio of domestic versus imports at Barret Jackson. They know what sells, they know what is special.

OP...attend an imports ONLY show and see how you do.

Side note: Not a shot at the OP, I do like the looks of the later built Fiero GT. Its a good looking car, too bad it did not run well. (flame suit on)

Please enlighten me as to what your idea of clean is. From what I can tell you have it confused with stock. To me a clean car has modifications that flow with the theme of of the car. For example the car with the unpainted CF Hood. Perhaps you didn't notice the hardtop was also unpainted CF.

Don't worry Bboy, I got this:

Clean: Modifying a car in a way where it looks like it could've (or should've) come from the factory like that. All the mods should work together, and none should stand out and grab your attention more than another. Anything that screams: "Hey, I'm modded!" is pretty much a disqualification from being called clean.

And yes, that includes (but is not limited to): extensive unpainted carbon fiber, gigantic wings, garish colored wheels, and stickers.

PS- While we're educating people today, lets just universally agree that eyelids and Ricks S-badges need to go. Mmkay?

So an AMG Black right off the showroom floor is not clean by your definition.
