Default Car smells like sweat inside

Is there anything I can do if my car smells like sweat. I do sweat often and Im pretty sure thats the problem because in Texas its hot and humid as hell. I know they have seat covers but I'd rather get the stinch out first then put the seat covers on to absorb my sweat. I have all the good stuff like zymol and some other cleaning products. Please let me know if anyone has any good ideas.

Thanks,
JmIkE

Deoderant

There are a couple of different odor eliminator products out there.

I've used THIS with very good results, though I haven't had to use it for sweat/BO.

kewl, I will check that out. I actually bought some other good stuff but that didnt really help. I need to change my seats to cloth or something because leather makes me sweat because its so damn hot down here. Also, when I bought the car, the driver seat looked as if they were used quite a bit. I met the owner and he wasnt big at all...like 5'5 or 5'6. The seat looked worn out...maybe he sweat quite a bit as well...dunno.

Thanks,

try cleaning your seats and plastic dash areas with a leather cleaner. the seat material sometimes pick up stuff and begin to smell, like i spilled some takeout food on one nad it smelled like raviolis for two days till i cleaned it off, could not see the food, but could smell it. also your carpet retains allot of odors, again clean it. also clean the glass.

of course this assumes you have not done this yet, if you have i am outta suggestions.

theres this stuff my dad uses called ozium that he gets from the local autozone/kragen and it neutralizes odor in one spray.

you can also try this trick i learned from my cousin... which is basically boil some water in a pot and drop some cinnamon sticks in... let it boil some more... then leave that pot in your car (properly insulating the pot so it doesnt melt anything) for a couple hours... then viola... scent gone... works really well getting rid of dog odors... but i suggest using the ozium.. its the less weird way to deodorize... and your car wont smell like cinnamon... and you wont think i'm weird....

It MIGHT be your cabin air filter.
If the odor is more noticeable when the air is on, check your filter.

I agree with Dan. Once I changed mine, the cabin air smelled fresh.

But it could be your soft-top as well. they tend to absorb everything.
