Default Car still smells after replacing cabin filter

About a week ago i replaced my cabin air filter since my vents smelled like ass but now a few days later, the smell has returned to haunt me! Anyone know what it could be.

I sprayed Ozium where the cabin air filter goes but the smell is still there. When i look down the hole, it looks like there is another filter (cone shaped). Can that be replaced as well.

Any notions will be greatly appreciated.

Pull the blower and see if you have a dead critter in there. Found a dehydrated mouse in my wifes Accord recently with its little legs stuck in the louvers of the blower.

See and hear about the smell or critters in snuggling up in your ride?? I hope there aint no damn rat in my car...that would suck! It dont smell like there is something dead...it smells like a freakin gym locker with some old socks!

It went away for a while and is now back...i think it could be mildew or something. I guess I have to take it to Honda. I hate going to dealerships...always give you a hard time. No offense Kurt2K...

put a spray called friggy fresh on ur filter and it will take care of any smell and kill any kind of bacteria growing in the vents.

You probably have mildew on the AC condensor. There is a foaming product you need to spray on it that will kill the mildew and make it smell like oranges. I don't know what it is called but they should know at the auto parts store.

It happens more often to people in damp climates. I know someone in an area of Hawaii that gets 100 inches of rain and has to foam her car twice a year.
