I've browsed through many S2000 sites
and found that some of them have the same
little car tv (or a navigator system),
does anyone know where to get it?
is it an option only in japan?
or just an aftermarket product?
i'm planning to buy a S2000 and
i'm desperate to get one!

here are the pics:

It's a navigation system, Japan only. I don't think it's available in other rhd countries; Muz?

Speaking for the land downunder I can tell you that it's not an option here.

Nav systems in general aren't very big here yet, but we'll have a boom over the next 2 years (according to my crystal ball).

Apparently the Japanese system is a DVD based satellite navigation/multimedia system. I intend to pick one up from a Japanese wreckers yard in the next couple of years.

As AusS2000 said... not an option here ...not for the stook anyway.

You can get them in the more expensive BMW's etc though.

Interestingly, the Maisto model S2000 has the Nav system in it (at least in the RHD Aussie version).

i posted the same message on zigzagasia.com and that guy replied:
"it is an genuine Honda option in Japan, "

if that's a stock option,
can i order it from a honda dealer and install it in here?
what do you guys think?

Tose car TV's are dangerous. I was following someone with one on the freeway the other night. He was all over the place trying to watch something.

Just do what I did,

Put a small PC in the trunk powered by an AC inverter and get an LCD flat panel TFT display and run GPS software, or get an ATI All in Wonder and put in a VCR, or get a DVD cdrom. Its easy, but costs some money.

I have one in my trunk that plays MP3s. No more fiddling with CDs!
